Billnäs Riding Centre is a versatile riding school which offers quality equine facilities in stunning surroundings. The yard is located in the village of the historic Billnäs foundry, only an hour’s drive from Helsinki. During the summer the operation shifts to Rilax Mansion in Bromarv which is located in the middle of the Finnish archipelago.

The stables provide space for 28 horses. As well as the riding school’s horses there are privately owned horses and horses bred by the yard. Many of the horses compete, some at a very high level. Because the horses are so well trained and the staff are motivated professionals, we are able to offer excellent coaching. As well as a manege, Billnäs Stables has a large outdoor arena and miles of beautiful hacking routes.

We offer training for horses and riders alike at any level from beginner to national and international competitors. Instruction and training is offered for dressage and show jumping. To us the well-being of the horse is paramount, as is the ability of the riders to learn to handle their horses properly. To this end we also offer courses in horse handling and horse psychology.We offer residential riding camps at summer and weekend camps and courses throughout the year. We also offer hacking and introductory riding lessons. We are also willing to answer any queries.

Driving Instruction:

From Helsinki:

follow the road to Hanko until Karjaa. Take a right turn towards Karjaa. After about 300m turn towards Pohja. Follow the road for 3km. At a main junction (left for Karjaa, right for Pohja) go straight across towards Billnäs. The yard is on the left after about 1km.

From Turku:

From Salo turn towards Tammisaari for approximately 35 km. Take a left turn at road 111, then follow the signs for Pohja, about 20 km. Drive past the signs for Pohja kk. Before Karjaa take a right turn towards Billnäs. The yard is on your right in about 700 metres.
